I am hoping to get a misty foal from pure x misty parents too... with no luck so far :( Misty x misty doesn't work for me as well. However, I've got another one from grey x light normal :D

I'm to lazy to get a picture in this message, but if you take a look in my herd you can se that I have put this * sign (next to my ponies names) to all my misty ponies and ¤ to all my pure ponies.

Hi, Phatcat :o) Well, misty ponies seem to be even more unique than glitches, since there's no guarantee that you'll get one when you fullfil some 'requirements'. It's more like getting an inherited trait, I guess. Misty ponies are quite similar to pure ponies in V2 - they have their own color palette :

This simply means that colors Sky blue pure, Sky blue and Sky blue misty look different. I'll try to find some examples later and post a picture here - I wonder what they look like in comparison to each other when they're shown together :D
Anyway, the 'individual' color palette is what makes misty ponies special ^^ And since they're rare, they're atractive - this is how it works,right? xP
In the IT breeding you can put more traits to have 'bigger chance' of getting an IT. With misty ponies you can use some color mixes that increase your chances. It is said that misty ponies tend to have misty babies, especially when they're bred to pure colored ponies. However, mixes of normal color and grey seem to work best for misty breeders.
Hmm, I don't know what else is worth mentioning here as a characteristic of misty ponies... I think other players will add something valuable :o)

Nice to see you back kim :) It seems dodec already explained how the misty breeding works. I agree that light grey bred with light regular colours seem to work best. I think the same goes for dark grey and dark regular colours. I think if two matching misty ponies are bred they have a good chance to get a misty foal as well. It's just important that their colours are not too different from each other.

My question is ... What color do I breed with the pures to get the misty, do i breed grey or black or white. I might have a pure yellow pony i will look and let you know.
ok I only went through 25 pages of 83 but i have some solid pures if interested.

Lime green - earth, celestial
Purple (mauve) -celestial
Blue (Indigo) earth, peg (Im sure I have other breeds as well)
Magenta (fushia) peg, air, (maybe others)
Cyan celestial
Yellow - celestial
Red (very deep)(burgundy)-celestial



2 colors

Magenta,Blue,Magenta - celestial
Red,Blue,Red -celestial
Cyan,Indigo,Indigo -pegasus,celestial
Cyan,cyan,fushia - celestial
Red,blue,blue - earth
Teal (deep cyan)cyan,cyan -earth

I did find a yellow but was a mare, but im sure I have a stallion I will keep looking.
ok I went ahead and looked through the rest and found a few more. I am thinking I have a solid green but it might be a mare, not the lime but regular green.

So is regular different from pures. I have been searching for some grey stallions and mares and have picked up a few. plus found some to breed to. I did breed some to pures,glitches so I will see in 6 days. ok thanks for all the input.
